From Seed to Garment

From Seed to Fabric The cotton we use is grown all over India and is organic certified by GOTS and Fairtrade. Organic raw cotton is handpicked and transported to the ginning mills, which only process fair trade organic cotton to ensure traceability. Here, the cotton get cleaned and the lint separated from the seed and impurities. The fibers get spun into a thread and the cotton get sent to the mills to get knitted and woven. The greige fabric (undyed) gets then dyed using GOTS approved dyes that are free of hazardous elements....Once ready, the fabric is cut and sewn by expert makers. Each step of the process is carefully monitored to ensure only organic cotton gets used.
